“What Is Total Deliverance?”
After being confirmed at His baptism by the Father, and being confronted by the devil in the wilderness, Jesus went to the synagogue and from the book of Isaiah He read the following, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach Deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19.
Preach Deliverance to the captives! We have all been held captive by the devil and the world system at one point in our lives, until one day we experienced the life changing power of Jesus Christ. After salvation we must ask, how do we now walk in the deliverance that we experienced the day we accepted Jesus as Lord and savior?
We must experience “Total Deliverance”!!! But what is total deliverance? Total Deliverance is a state of heart and mind whereby we realize who we are in God and who God is in us. Total Deliverance is a point that we all strive to attain where we understand that we have complete power over the devil as well as our flesh. Total Deliverance is a state of mind that can only be obtained by, “Presenting our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God… Being transformed by the renewing of our minds”, according to Romans 12:1-2.
In Total Deliverance, we understand that we are more than conquerors, that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world, that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, that no weapon formed against us shall be able to prosper, and that we walk by faith and not by sight.
In Total Deliverance, we praise in the midst of our tears, sing in the midst of our fears, and rejoice when it seems that there is nothing to rejoice about.
In Total Deliverance, we experience peace that surpasses all understanding and joy unspeakable in spite of our circumstances.
In Total Deliverance, we have learned to let go of the slave mentality and to take on the mind of Christ.
Total Deliverance is a place where your mind, body and Spirit are refreshed and renewed.
